Carousel Studio, in West Seattle, was created by Michael Crouse back in 1995. His mission was to provide all aspiring musicians a place to come and discover the joy and art of making music. The relaxed atmosphere of Carousel Studio gives each student a one-on-one personal learning experiece and students are allowed to help determine the direction and focus of their musical studies. Michael's unique approach to teaching includes all the music fundamentals and tools needed to play proficiently along with the many "Life Lessons" that can only be learned by decades of playing professionally in the Music business.

Michael has been performing throughout the U.S. and around the world for over 30 years. After graduating Central Washington University on a music scholarship Michael hit the road as a professional working musician and hasn't stopped yet.

As an award winning Songwriter, Guitarist, Bassist, Vocalist, and Producer Michael has shared the stage with some of the Greats such as Pearl Jam, Queensryche, Heart, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audio Slave, Alan White of Yes, Dave Deiderer and Andrew McCabe of Presidents of the United States of America, Bass Master Stu Hamm, Tower of Power, Chuck Berry, Michael Shrieve of Santana, Billy Sheehan, Randy Bachman of Bachman Turner Overdrive and the Guess Who, Danny O'Keef, Ricky Nelson, Steppenwolf, Lee Oskar, Cold Blood, and many others.

Since creating Carousel Studio Michael has taught over 25,000 individual lessons and hundreds of group lessons helping many students achieve their musical goals and dreams. Focusing on fun and inspiration along with the discipline required to accelerate on your instrument he always keeps it fresh and exciting.
